Bombay Salad Garbonza / Chickpeas salad
  • 1 can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 onion- sliced
  • 1 medium size tomato cubed
  • 1 bunch spring onion - chopped
  • 2 Tb white vinegar
  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • A dollop of plain yoghurt – for garnishing (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Method- Mix the vinegar, cumin ,olive oil, sugar in a bowl-.Then add the other ingredients into a bowl mix well- A great summer salad- You could make it into a meal by adding some greens like fresh spinach.- Serve with a dollop of yoghurt.
