1 Cup Tuar dhall

1 Cup Channa Dhal

1/2 Cup Mysore DhalYou may substitute with Red Lentils-Musoor

5 1/2 Cups to cook Lentils Water

1 Medium finely chopped Onion

4-5 Cloves Finely chopped Garlic

1 Inch finely chopped Ginger Root

5 Finely chopped Roma Tomatoes

1 Teaspoon Geramin La Brie’s Garam Masala

1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Powder

1 Teaspoon Turmeric

1 Tablespoon Cumin

4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil

1/2 Cup Chopped CilantroOptional

1 Teaspoon Black Mustard SeedsOptional (Found in most Indian Grocery stores)
Directions
Turn Insta pot into sauté mode and add 4 Tb of vegetable oil when pot really starts to turn hot-add the mustard seeds and the seeds will start to pop- then add the onions, ginger garlic a d saute for another 2 minutes. Then add the tomatoes till they turn soft – Add the turmeric, garam masala cumin, cayenne,-mix and then add the Lentils and the water soon after- Close Insta lid and put it on steam mode for 12 minutes. Serve and eat with white rice.
