Adjust Servings:
2 Cups Sifted All purpose flour
6 Beaten Stiff Egg Whites
6 Egg Yolks
1 Tablespoon+2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
2 Tablespoons Corn Starch You can substitute with corn flour
1 1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
1 Pinch Salt
Tres Leches milk mixture
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1 1/4 Cups Half and Half
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Optional Rum
Whipped cream for tres leches cake
1 Pint Whipped Cream
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

Tres Leches Cake

Take 2 TB of flour and set aside to grease a 9”x13” cake pan and lightly flour the pan. In a separate bowl add the cornstarch and the baking powder, salt and sift the flour 12 times.
Beat the egg whites and set aside- Beat the egg yolks sugar and the vanilla till cream again in another bowl. Add the sifted flour together into the egg yolk, sugar vanilla blend…and beat gently again till really smooth. Fold the egg white mixture gently.
Bake for 45 minutes in 360 F-degree oven-till cake turns brown.

Combine Tres Leches milk mixture ingredients in a bowl and mix well. When cake is cool, prick with a skewer and punch it generously making small holes- (for the milk mixture to soak in.) Pour over generously.


Whipped cream for tres leches cake

After pouring all the milk mixture into the cake –In a separate bowl beat the whipping cream after adding the vanilla-slowly keep adding the [powdered sugar and increasing the speed…of the beater…when it forms into a stiff cream shape or stiff….spread it over the cake – and decorate it with sliced strawberries.
